
Rani was born in India and completed her BSc in 2018. In 2020, she obtained her MSc in Applied Chemistry (Pharmaceuticals) from Guru Nanak Dev University in Amritsar, India. Pursuing her interests, after completing her studies, she accumulated four years of work experience in Contract Research Organization in research and development (focusing on synthesis of large heterocyclic compounds and cross coupling reactions), including three years in India and one year in Germany. In September 2024, Rani joined the Beil Group as a PhD candidate, where she is working on the photochemical synthesis of new non-natural amino acids. Outside of her academic pursuits, Rani enjoys swimming, volleyball, table tennis, reading, and traveling.
